Making Connections
The orbs, luminosities and light-forms we photographed and explored in our books, ‘Beyond Photography’ and ‘Orbs and Beyond’ were about more than just the photographs – they were about the synchronicity of connections with a wider reality which underpins everything. All life is fundamentally connected.
Most problems in the world are caused by disconnections: People disconnected with themselves, with each other and with nature.
Making the right connections is vitally important.
Planet Earth is like a huge spacecraft taking us on our journey round the Sun. All
species on our world are dependent on the life support systems in the biosphere of spaceship Earth.
Our global disconnection from this reality has resulted in wrong thinking; wrong priorities: thoughtless consumerism, poverty, war; the extinction of species, the pollution of our seas and the degradation of our global environment. To survive as a species we need drastic change. We need to make the right connections and become caretakers of the Earth instead of exploiters.
